Minimum Wage Change 
Effective July 1, 2010, Illinois’ minimum wage becomes $8.25 per hour, up from $8.00 per hour. 

This year marks the final minimum wage increase under Public Act 94-1072, which phased in an enhancement to Illinois’ minimum wage over a four year period.
